Job summary

North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) is seeking a Senior Enterprise Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of complex IT and business initiatives within our enterprise portfolio. You will plan, execute, monitor, and close projects while guiding governance and portfolio management practices.

You will oversee budgets, forecasts, and dependencies, and collaborate with business and IT leaders to optimize delivery using JIRA, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, and Airtable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
• PMP certification required.
• 7+ years of progressive project management experience.
• Experience managing enterprise portfolios and IT/digital initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Aligns portfolio execution with enterprise roadmaps and initiatives.
• Manages portfolio budgets, forecasts, and investment trade-offs.
• Supports governance and executive review sessions.
• Interacts with business and IT leaders to resolve dependencies and conflicts.
• Leads cross-functional change coordination for enterprise initiatives.
• Uses JIRA/Azure DevOps and enterprise PPM tools for reporting.
