Job summary

NWN is seeking a Project Manager to lead IT-based business solutions projects for Enterprise, Commercial, State and Local, and K-12 clients. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and stakeholder communications while maintaining 80% billable utilization.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of PM experience, PMP or willingness to certify, PMBOK knowledge, cross-functional leadership, and strong client-facing skills. Remote role with limited travel; comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT project management experience.
• 3+ years of experience developing project plans (charter, scope, approach, management plans, communication plans, resources, SOW, cost estimates, schedule).
• 3+ years of experience with cross-functional teams and staff at all levels.
• Experience managing project financials including forecasting, third-party cost controls, and budget baseline.
• Knowledge of PMBOK best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned IT projects across Enterprise, Commercial, State/Local and K-12 verticals, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Drive project success with high customer satisfaction and adherence to schedule and budget.
• Coordinate activities of project personnel and resources to keep projects on track.
• Forecast revenue across projects and mitigate risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Follow PM methodologies: kickoff meetings, detailed plans, progress reporting, requirements documentation, change management, and formal closure.
