Linn County is seeking an IT Director to lead the County's Information Technology Department and guide technology use across all County agencies. You will direct planning, security, operations, and modernization to ensure secure, reliable, and cost-effective services aligned with the County's strategic goals.

The role oversees IT budgeting, vendor management, governance, and staff development, with a focus on delivering high-quality public services through technology and data governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in information technology, computer science, or other related field.
• Over six (6) years of experience that includes two years in a supervisory or management position.

Responsabilités

• Provides executive leadership and strategic direction for the County’s Information Technology (IT) Department and for technology use across all County departments.
• Directs the planning, security, operation, and modernization of the County’s technology environment.
• Ensures technology investments and services support the County’s Strategic Plan and operational goals and are delivered securely, reliably, and cost-effectively.
• Directs and manages information technology services, budget, and staff.
