Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a Change Management Engineer to design, implement, and govern ITIL-aligned change processes for mission-critical systems in a highly regulated federal IT environment. You will coordinate with operations, cybersecurity, development, and leadership to minimize disruption while ensuring auditability.

Responsibilities include leading change advisory board activities, managing change records, and driving continuous improvement of change

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or equivalent experience.
• 4–7 years in ITIL-based ITSM with at least 4 years in change management.
• Strong ITIL change management knowledge and practice.
• Experience evaluating change requests with diverse stakeholders.
• Analytical, communication, and organizational skills; risk mitigation.
• Ability to obtain SECRET clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain ITIL-based change workflows with intake, impact analysis, approvals, implementation, validation, and post-implementation review.
• Evaluate change requests for risk, priority, regulatory impact, and scheduling.
• Chair or support CAB meetings, document decisions, track actions.
• Log, track, and report changes in ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
• Develop policies, templates, and communications for compliant change governance.
• Monitor change KPIs and drive tooling improvements for stability.
• Collaborate with release management to integrate controls into pipelines.
• Provide training on ITIL practices and tool usage.
