Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a Change Management Engineer to design, implement, and govern ITIL-aligned change management processes for mission-critical systems in a highly regulated federal IT environment. You will evaluate change requests, drive risk assessments, and ensure changes are approved, scheduled, implemented, and reviewed with auditability in mind.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or equivalent work experience.
• 4–7 years of ITIL-based ITSM experience with focus on change management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of ITIL change management processes.
• Experience evaluating change requests and coordinating with stakeholders to minimize disruption.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain ITIL-based change management workflows for enterprise IT services.
• Evaluate change requests for risk, priority, and regulatory impact; recommend actions.
• Chair or support change advisory board meetings and track actions.
• Log, track, and report changes using ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
• Develop and maintain change management policies, templates, and communications.
• Monitor KPIs and drive process improvements to enhance stability.
• Collaborate with project, operations, and security teams to integrate controls.
• Provide training on ITIL change practices and tool usage.
