Job summary

The role monitors performance across compute, storage, network, and applications, analyzes trends, and produces forecasts to inform budgeting and planning decisions. A current secret security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or service management with a focus on performance analysis and capacity planning.
• Current secret security clearance or higher.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with architecture, operations, and business functions.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain an ITIL-based capacity management framework spanning business, service, and component capacity views.
• Collect and analyze utilization and performance metrics from monitoring tools across servers, storage, networks to detect bottlenecks and risks.
• Build capacity forecasts and what-if models to guide scaling strategies and upgrades.
• Produce regular capacity and performance reports and dashboards for leadership and service owners.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and operations to integrate capacity into designs, release planning, and change schedules.
