Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a Senior IT Services Manager to lead enterprise IT operations across infrastructure, cloud, security, and compliance. You will direct IT activities, ensure continuity of services, and align IT with business needs.

You will mentor staff, manage budgets, perform risk analyses, and drive continuous improvement through policy development and strategic solutions. A current DoD security clearance (Security+ or higher) is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years in Information Technology.
• 5+ years managing IT staff.
• Clear communication to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of commercial and open-source IT hardware, software, and services.
• Ability to lead matrixed teams and drive collaboration.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving complex IT issues.
• Security clearance current; DoD 8140 compliance (Security+).

Responsibilities

• Lead IT activities across infrastructure, apps, networks, cloud, and security.
• Ensure service continuity through leadership and oversight.
• Align IT services with business processes and requirements.
• Perform analysis, estimation, design review, and compliance assessment.
• Forecast costs and manage budgets for IT projects.
• Recommend hardware and software upgrades.
• Develop and coordinate IT policies, standards, and procedures.
• Audit systems and ensure data security and backup readiness.
• Identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement improvements.
• Prepare system plans and oversee feasibility studies, monitoring.
• Analyze needs and propose scalable solutions.
• Lead, mentor, and manage staff, performance reviews.
