Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company seeks a Change Management Engineer to design, implement, and govern ITIL-aligned change processes for mission-critical federal systems. The role evaluates requests, assesses risks, schedules implementations, and maintains audit-ready records for governance and compliance.

You will chair or support change advisory board meetings, collaborate across operations, cybersecurity, development, and leadership, and drive continuous improvement of ITSM

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or equivalent work experience.
• 4–7 years of ITIL-based ITSM experience with at least 4 years in change management.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL change management in controlled environments.
• Experience evaluating change requests with diverse stakeholders and documenting changes.
• Analytical, communicative, and organized with risk mitigation focus.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SECRET clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain ITIL-based change management workflows across enterprise IT services.
• Evaluate change requests for risk, priority, regulatory impact, and scheduling.
• Chair or support change advisory board meetings and track actions for complex changes.
• Use ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools to log, track, and report changes.
• Develop and maintain change policies, procedures, templates, and communications.
• Monitor KPIs like change success rate and emergency change volume.
• Collaborate with project, operations, and security teams to integrate change controls with release management.
• Provide training to engineers, analysts, and managers on ITIL practices and documentation.
