Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Inventory Management/Purchasing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in a Retail/Wholesale/Distribution environment with large SKU counts (10,000+).
• Proficient in Excel and data analysis to support inventory decisions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory levels while maximizing customer service levels.
• Manage DSO, aged, obsolete inventory, spoilage and shrink to meet goals.
• Collaborate with merchandising teams, suppliers, and other functions.
• Utilize DPR and KPI dashboards to drive replenishment performance.
• Work with logistics to maximize supply chain efficiency.
• Develop programs with inbound planning to optimize receiving and warehousing.
• Handle 2,300–4,000 vendor direct SKUs and 3,500+ redistributed or 750 perishable lines weekly.
• Execute purchasing of new items and proper system setup timely.
• Process Salesforce 360 requests (NISR/MSR) promptly.
• Respond to market conditions within guidelines and anticipate seasonal trends.
• Understand commodity purchasing dynamics and enterprise purchasing initiatives.
