Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Inventory Control Manager II in the United States to lead the Inventory Control team and drive strategic initiatives across the function. You will partner with operations and client teams to deliver reliable inventory control performance and service excellence.

The role focuses on staffing, KPI achievement, and continuous improvement, with heavy emphasis on data-driven decision making and cross-functional collaboration to meet client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years logistics industry experience.
• 3+ years management experience in a large company.
• 1+ years client relationship and staff mgmt. & objective setting experience.
• Staff management and objective setting experience.
• Metric development and reporting across cross functional leadership.
• Knowledge of systems such as JDA, Manhattan WMS, DMPLUS, SAP, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership and strategy for the Inventory Control team.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence in inventory control.
• Develop key customer relationships and partnerships with the client.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and KPI targets are met.
• Oversee staffing, development plans and succession planning.
• Manage cross-functional communication and reporting.
