Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Inventory Control Manager I in the United States to lead the inventory control function and drive strategic initiatives across the supply chain. You will manage senior stakeholders, build partnerships with clients, and pursue continuous improvement to meet service levels.

Ideal candidates bring strong leadership, 4+ years in inventory control, and hands-on experience with ERP/WMS systems such as JDA, Manhattan WMS, DMPLUS, and SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in inventory control or related field.
• 4+ years inventory control experience and knowledge of distribution environments.
• Strong leadership and staff management capabilities.
• Proven client relationship management and objective setting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.
• Experience with ERP/WMS systems such as JDA, Manhattan WMS, DMPLUS, SAP.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership, direction and strategy for the Inventory Control team.
• Develop and progress customer relationships and operational partnerships.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence in inventory control.
• Set strategic direction for supply chain initiatives around Inventory Control.
• Develop proactive strategies to anticipate and mitigate issues and risks.
• Analyze data to determine methods for inventory control improvements.
• Ensure adherence to Inventory Control KPIs outlined in the contract.
