Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Inventory Control Manager II to lead the inventory control team, shape strategy, and drive continuous improvement across a national scope in the United States. The role emphasizes developing key client relationships and delivering operational excellence in inventory control management.

We require a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with extensive logistics/management experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with WMS/ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 4 years Inventory Control experience.
• 3+ years logistics industry experience.
• 3+ years management experience in a large company preferred.
• 1+ years client relationship, staff mgmt. & objective setting experience.
• Staff management & Objective Setting experience.
• Metric development and reporting across cross functional leadership.
• Knowledge of systems such as JDA, Manhattan WMS, DMPLUS, SAP, etc.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to the audience.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership, direction and strategy for the Inventory Control team.
• Develop and progress customer relationships and operational partnerships.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence in inventory control management.
• Ensure adherence to Inventory Control KPI outlined in the commercial agreement.
• Develop proactive strategies to mitigate issues and risks related to inventory control.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 4 years Inventory Control experience

3+ years logistics industry experience

3+ years management experience

1+ years client relationship, staff mgmt. & objective setting experience

Staff management & Objective Setting

Metric development and reporting across cross functional leadership

Knowledge of systems such as JDA, Manhattan WMS, DMPLUS, SAP

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
