Job summary

The County Materials Family of Companies is hiring a Corporate Inventory Control Manager in Westmont, Illinois. This role oversees all inventory activities to optimize levels, accuracy, and financial performance, partnering with operations, purchasing, finance, and sales to drive working capital improvements.

Responsibilities include cycle counting, obsolescence management, KPI dashboards, and collaboration across ERP/WMS systems to ensure accurate valuations and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 5–7+ years in inventory management or supply chain roles.
• Experience with cycle counting and obsolescence management.
• Strong analytical skills and ERP/system proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust inventory control procedures.
• Maintain 98%+ inventory accuracy through cycle counts.
• Investigate variances and root causes.
• Coordinate with ERP/WMS for accurate records.
• Lead forecasting and demand planning initiatives.
• Manage write-offs and reserves in line with policy.
• Prepare periodic inventory reports and KPIs.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Sales.
