Job summary

The Planet Group seeks a Communications Specialist to join a global pharmaceutical client in Worcester, MA. The role combines internal communications with high-level administrative support for senior leaders, enabling strategic messages and efficient operations.

You will manage complex calendars, coordinate domestic and international travel, and craft engaging content across SharePoint, Teams, and other channels, using AI tools to boost productivity.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience; must have advanced administrative support to senior leaders.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing or related field.
• 2–5 years of professional communications experience with strong content and project management.

Responsibilities

• Support leaders, teams, and site operations with internal communications and admin duties.
• Create clear, compelling content to engage employees and support medicines advancement.
• Manage calendars, travel arrangements, emails, action items, and correspondence for senior leaders.
• Maintain complex calendars across time zones and coordinate meetings and travel.
• Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion; organize files per legal standards.
• Collaborate with administrative peers on cross-functional priorities and special projects.
• Prepare expense reports, invoices, and meetings logistics using Office 365 and travel tools.
• Support onboarding, seating, email lists, and department meetings; maintain SharePoint and Teams sites.
• Utilize AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and productivity; develop internal communications campaigns.
• Develop content with BGM leaders; translate objectives into communication plans and quarterly content.
• Create story content, research, and distribute internal communications across channels.
• Track and execute internal campaigns and manage channels for internal portals.
• Collaborate with internal/external talent to ensure cohesive branding.
• Assist with events and monthly department meetings.
