Job summary

SJE seeks an Internal Communications Manager to lead content across all divisions and locations. You will develop strategies, craft announcements, intranet updates, and leadership messages that inform, engage, and align employees with our goals.

Collaborate with HR, Operations, Marketing, and senior leaders to ensure accuracy and timely delivery. Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in communications or related fields are required; salary range is discussed during the interview process.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in communications, employer brand, public relations, recruitment marketing, or a related field are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and deliver internal communications across all SJE divisions and locations.
• Create high-quality content for internal audiences and manage communication channels.
• Maintain a consistent tone, voice, and brand alignment across internal communications.
• Translate complex information into clear, easy-to-understand messages for broad employee audiences.
• Partner with HR, Operations, Marketing, and senior leaders to ensure communications are accurate, relevant, and timely.
• Support communication needs for major initiatives, including acquisitions, branding, culture initiatives, and organizational changes.
• Coordinate with external vendors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Manage and maintain internal communication platforms to keep them current and engaging.
• Monitor and evaluate communication effectiveness using feedback and data.
