Job summary

TMEIC Corporation in Houston, TX, is seeking a procurement and supplier integration specialist responsible for overseeing third-party skid and e-house integration and major subcontractors for the business unit.

You will drive supplier selection criteria, manage qualifications, negotiate pricing, lead risk assessments, and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet budgets and schedules, while pursuing cost reduction through standard designs and improved processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Electronics, or related field or equivalent via education and/or work experience.
• At least 3 years' experience in mechanical integration of AC and DC power control systems or equivalent equipment.
• 3 years' experience qualifying major sub-contractors.
• 3 years' project management experience in a technical environment.
• 2 years' experience participating in sales transaction process for equipment and/or services.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply contract deliverables, terms, and guarantees.
• Demonstrated success developing, implementing, measuring, and improving effective processes.
• Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal/external contacts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business unit needs to mitigate integration and major subcontracting supply and delivery risk; recommend solutions and implement.
• Develop and recommend optimal integration and major subcontracting supplier selection criteria.
• Manage qualifications and performance evaluation of integrators and major subcontractors.
• Lead development, revision control, and storage of standard specifications for procurement of integration and subcontracting services.
• Negotiate standard integration pricing matrices and lead-times with suppliers annually; communicate to BU personnel.
• Negotiate non-standard integration pricing as needed with BU personnel.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams for successful integration scope delivery.
• Provide timely updates on integrator performance, market trends, and supplier relationships to management.
• Track milestones and communicate requirements to sourcing personnel.
• Maintain safety qualifications for assigned tasks to meet safety requirements.
