Job summary

Relation Insurance Services is seeking an Account Manager in Kentucky to manage client relationships, advise on coverage and risk management, and ensure alignment with long-term growth goals. You will stay current on insurance products and industry trends while coordinating with carriers and internal teams.

The role requires strong analytical skills, a client-focused mindset, and the ability to navigate complex policy details.

Qualifications

• Licensed Property & Casualty required; license must be maintained
• Minimum 5 years in account management in insurance
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus or required in some locations
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communications
• Proficient in MS Office; able to learn new software

Responsibilities

• Serves as the main client contact; advise on coverage changes and contract requirements
• Partners in strategic development of insurance plans for clients
• Underwrites and binds coverage as needed with carriers
• Manages renewals and maintains high account retention
• Prepares client proposals, loss evaluations, risk analyses, and quotations
• Generates binders, certificates, policies, endorsements, and related docs
• Assists clients with first reports of claims and coordinates with claims team
• Conducts policy reviews, audits, and resolves discrepancies
• Reviews cancellation requests to retain clients and protect revenue
• Keeps informed on industry developments and new products
• Proposes process improvements and integrates AI solutions
• Performs other duties as assigned
