Job summary

CRC Group is seeking an Underwriting Account Executive in Kentucky to lead the execution and servicing of assigned accounts from submission through binding and renewal. You will coordinate with brokers, underwriters, and carriers to solicit quotes, negotiate terms, and manage the full account lifecycle with accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Progressive experience in wholesale insurance, brokerage, or underwriting support roles (typically 3+ years).
• Experience managing accounts, marketing business, and supporting placement activities.
• Strong understanding of insurance products, coverage structures, and market dynamics.
• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and make informed decisions with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts from submission through binding, coordinating documentation and communications.
• Partner with brokers and underwriters to solicit, quote, and renew business.
• Negotiate coverage terms with carriers, including pricing, deductibles, and exclusions.
• Prepare and deliver quotes, coverage comparisons, and recommendations to support placement.
• Process new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations with compliance.
• Maintain communication with agents, carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
• Support retention and renewal strategies by identifying opportunities to expand coverage.
• Provide guidance to support staff to ensure efficient workflow.
• Stay current on industry trends and market developments.
