Job summary

American Global is seeking an experienced Account Executive to grow our Texas insurance practice from Houston/The Woodlands or Dallas/Plano offices. You will strengthen client relationships, manage renewals, and lead a small team in a role that may be AVP or VP level depending on experience.

You will tailor risk solutions, drive growth, and develop cross-sell opportunities while working with underwriters and centers of influence to expand our market presence in Texas.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of property and casualty experience in a client-facing role.
• Proven ability to drive strategy and growth in a commercial insurance context.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic point of contact for client accounts.
• Manage annual book of business and monitor expirations.
• Develop risk management solutions and cross-sell services.
• Lead a team of 1–5 and mentor career growth.
• Present tailored solutions to clients and prospects.
