Job summary

Aon is seeking a Construction Practice Account Executive/Broker II to serve as the primary day-to-day contact for a large construction client, delivering high-quality insurance and risk management services with strong client communication.

The role is hybrid with three to four days per week in Houston, Chicago, New York, or Dallas offices, plus virtual work from home, offering leadership and development opportunities in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
• Must have and maintain an active Property and Casualty insurance license.
• Bonuses for CPCU/ARM/ARe/CRIS designations.
• In-depth knowledge of construction-related Property and Casualty coverages.
• Ability to train and mentor junior staff while managing client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for a large construction client.
• Manage placements and daily service needs; coordinate new business and renewals.
• Train and oversee junior staff to ensure high-quality work.
• Prepare coverage comparisons, letters, and reports as required.
• Ensure timely communication and alignment with clients, markets, and offices.
• Monitor and summarize claims; support risk management activities.
• Collaborate with other Aon offices and third parties to deliver services.
