Job summary

American Global is seeking an Account Executive to lead a Texas construction insurance book from Houston/The Woodlands or Dallas/Plano, with AVP/VP level consideration. You will strengthen client relationships, manage renewals and growth, identify risk needs, present tailored solutions, mentor a 1–5 person team, and promote American Global’s competitive differentiation in written and verbal communications.

This role requires a strategic thinker with 5–7+ years of experience and travel as needed

Qualifications

• Experience managing a book of business in insurance or risk management.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proven ability to lead client engagements and cross-sell solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic point of contact for client and manage annual book of business.
• Identify risk management needs of clients and prospects; develop and recommend products.
• Lead and train a 1-5 person team; promote differentiation in presentations and communications.
• Cultivate underwriting relationships and coordinate renewal and RFP processes.
• Present custom solutions and maintain high levels of client service across Texas.
