Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree and three years of related experience.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Proficient computer skills and experience with order processing systems.
• Solid negotiation skills and the ability to influence pricing where appropriate.
• Specialty product knowledge from previous warehouse and inside sales experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Responds to customer inquiries, provides quotes and takes orders by phone, fax, email, or walk-in; may handle complex inquiries.
• Serves as a Subject Matter Expert on one or more technical products and ensures accurate, timely transactions.
• Proactively promotes Motion’s products to existing customers to generate sales.
• Influences gross profit by negotiating sale and purchase price within defined parameters.
• Maintains relationships with customers and coordinates billing, collections and service requests.
• Keeps inventory levels adequate by ordering items as needed for customers; handles backorders and expedites shipments.
• Sourcing products from branch, DC, or supplier inventories; determines cost-effective fulfillment methods.
• Partners with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction; coaches less experienced CSRs.
