Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree and three years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
• Excellent communication, organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong negotiation skills and problem-solving capabilities.
• Deep knowledge of Motion's products and services and related industries.

Responsibilities

• Responds to customer inquiries, provides quotes and takes orders via phone, fax, email, or in person.
• Serves as a subject matter expert on one or more technical products and guides customers and junior staff.
• Proactively generates sales by promoting Motion's products to existing customers.
• Influences gross profit by negotiating sale and purchase prices within set parameters.
• Maintains relationships with current and potential customers, handles billing and collection, and fulfills requests promptly.
• Places and tracks orders to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• May authorize orders up to $25,000 per line and $50,000 per PO.
• Expedites backorders and prepares orders for shipment from inventory or suppliers.
• Determines cost-effective methods to fulfill customer orders and handles returns when needed.
• Partners with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and provides coaching to less experienced CSRs.
