WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Project Financial Advisor to support our Transportation and Infrastructure portfolio in the United States.

You will partner with Project Managers to drive profitability, budgeting, and forecasting while ensuring financial controls and regulatory compliance. You will review project performance, analyze costs and revenue recognition, and provide guidance on WBS, billing methods, and contract terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Professional accounting or finance designation (CPA, CMA, ACCA, CGA, or equivalent) preferred.
• 3–5 years of project accounting/finance experience in engineering, construction, environmental, or professional services.
• Strong understanding of project financial management, forecasting, budgeting, revenue recognition, and profitability analysis.
• Experience supporting medium to large, complex project portfolios.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP systems experience (Oracle preferred).
• Experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools.

Responsabilités

• Partner with Project Managers to support the financial success of projects.
• Provide guidance on project setup, including budgets, WBS, billing methods, and rates.
• Review project financial performance and identify risks and opportunities.
• Support forecasting, revenue recognition, and profitability management.
• Analyze labor utilization, project costs, and margins to improve performance.
• Advise teams on project funding, contract requirements, and financial controls.
• Review contract structures to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor billing requirements and revenue recognition methods.
• Assist with compliance reporting and audit requests.
• Prepare and review project forecasts, budgets, and projections.
• Identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Support working capital management and project cash flow activities.
• Provide financial reporting and commentary to leadership.
