Job summary

Cardinal Health in Madison, WI seeks an Advisor, Strategic Sourcing for indirect categories. You will lead end-to-end sourcing, negotiate contracts, and manage RFP events to drive value and risk mitigation across stakeholders and suppliers.

You will leverage spend analytics and market intelligence, work with legal/compliance, and ensure best value for Cardinal Health through strategic supplier partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, indirect category management, supplier management and negotiation preferred.
• Strong communication in English and presentation skills; ability to interact with all levels of the organization and supplier partners.
• Demonstrates strong financial acumen and keen procurement analytics.
• MD Office tools proficiency; knowledge of SAP/SAP Ariba is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead category sourcing for assigned indirect categories such as Environmental Health and Safety, Energy and Facilities.
• Act as primary sourcing partner for stakeholders; source indirect goods and services.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts; manage RFP events and ensure purchasing discipline.
• Review BuyNow requests and supplier setups; collaborate with legal and compliance for favorable terms.
