ColonialWebb in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Strategic Account Manager with a mechanical engineering background or equivalent experience to grow our commercial HVAC, plumbing and electrical service portfolio. The role emphasizes pipeline development and key account management.

You will self-generate a sales pipeline, support service projects and renewal opportunities, and perform estimating for mechanical service work. Strong MS Office and CRM skills are required.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering degree or 2+ years mechanical experience (HVAC, plumbing, or electrical).
• Experience working with facility managers, property managers, building engineers and operations directors.
• Skillful listener with excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Self generate a pipeline, prospect new commercial accounts and build territory while maintaining contract account base.
• Support sales and operations for Service Project and Service Agreement opportunities.
• Perform estimating activities for commercial mechanical service projects (equipment replacements, retrofits, installations).
• Develop trusting relationships with customers and grow those relationships.
• Identify customer objectives and how our services may fit their needs.
• Analyze and make recommendations on modifying and repositioning agreements on renewal processes.
