Job summary

ColonialWebb is seeking an Account Manager with a mechanical engineering background or hands-on mechanical experience. The role emphasizes HVAC, plumbing, and electrical applications, with strong MS Office and CRM usage.

You will build and manage a local pipeline, support project opportunities, and perform estimating for service contracts. Ideal candidates have a Mechanical Engineering degree or 2+ years in the mechanical field, plus experience with facility managers and building engineers.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering degree or 2+ years mechanical experience (HVAC, plumbing, or electrical).
• Experience working with facility managers, property managers, building engineers and operations directors.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate and manage a pipeline, prospect new commercial accounts and grow territory while maintaining base accounts.
• Support sales and operations for Service Project and Service Agreement opportunities.
• Perform estimating activities for commercial mechanical service projects (equipment replacements, retrofits, installations).
• Develop trusting relationships with customers and expand those relationships.
• Identify customer objectives and show how our services fit their needs.
• Analyze and recommend changes to renewal agreements.
