Job summary

Trane Technologies in Los Angeles, CA is hiring an Area Service Leader to guide the regional service strategy, achieve budget targets, and lead a team of Area Service Managers.

The role requires 5+ years in HVAC, 3+ years managing large teams, and project leadership. You’ll own P&L, drive service growth with the acquisition team, ensure safety, and coordinate field operations. Travel to sites is required with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in HVAC or related field.
• 3+ years managing large teams and coordinating schedules.
• Project management skills to oversee and drive successful project execution for startups and customer requests.
• Strong business acumen with knowledge of P&L and annual operating plans.
• Tech-savvy with expertise in Microsoft applications. Salesforce experience considered an asset.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations in the last 3 years.
• We prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles.

Responsibilities

• Strategic outlook to grow the business and meet targets.
• P&L responsibility; provide monthly revenue forecasting; grow service base.
• Manage large projects and engage with customers on high-visibility work.
• Oversee service coordination and ensure technician training and safety.
• Ensure safety compliance and develop area-wide safety initiatives.
• Lead hiring, training, and safety programs for the area; drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with ASM team to meet margin targets and standardize service processes.
• Travel to customer sites as required; coordinate resources across the area.
