Job summary

Sephora in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to align HR strategies with business goals across the regional retail network. This remote market-based role requires residency in the SF Bay Area and offers a comprehensive benefits package and a base salary between $125,000 and $145,000.

Qualifications

• Progressive HR experience in HRBP or generalist roles, retail or multi-unit preferred.
• Leadership and relationship-building across all levels of the organization.
• Broad HR knowledge across performance management, succession planning, employee relations, compliance, and leave of absence and accommodation processes.
• Analytical skills to interpret HR data and tell a clear data-driven story.
• Self-management and accountability with autonomous work style.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field; HR certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Regional Directors, District Managers, and Store Managers to align HR strategies with business goals.
• Oversee performance management, talent reviews, promotions, and coaching; lead training and development initiatives.
• Drive engagement, culture initiatives, and HR analytics to support data-driven decisions.
• Manage employee relations, compliance, leaves, and accommodations.
• Support cyclical HR programs and cross-functional projects; travel 25-40% within the region.
