Veronica Beard is hiring a Retail HRBP to serve as the primary HR partner for District Managers and Store Leaders, building proactive partnerships across employee relations, performance management, talent development, compliance, and organizational effectiveness. The role sits in NY HQ four days a week with one day work-from-home; in LA, it is remote with travel to stores within the region.

Qualifications

• Serve as the HR partner for District Managers and Store Leaders.
• Advise on performance management, employee relations, and compliance.
• Lead talent development, succession planning, and workforce planning.
• Oversee benefits, leave administration, and HR documentation.
• Promote a positive employee experience and organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR partner for District Managers and Store Leaders.
• Support execution of regional business and talent strategies.
• Provide coaching to leaders on performance, change, and workforce planning.
• Identify opportunities to improve retention, engagement, and productivity.
• Manage employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
• Advise on performance management, corrective action, and documentation.
• Conduct investigations and recommend resolutions.
• Escalate high-risk matters to HR leadership as needed.
• Ensure consistent application of company policies and practices.
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding activities within the region.
• Support lifecycle transactions and HR documentation.
• Maintain accurate employee records and compliance.
• Promote a positive, consistent employee experience.
• Maintain compliance with employment laws; conduct audits and policy adherence.
• Support implementation of new HR programs and initiatives.
• Identify risk and recommend solutions.
