Job summary

Resource Innovations is seeking a Senior Strategic Human Resources Business Partner for Commercial Operations in Chicago. The role partners with sales, marketing, advisory services and GTM teams to align people strategy with business goals, drive organizational effectiveness, and support senior leaders with workforce planning and change leadership.

Responsibilities include talent planning, succession, workforce analytics, talent acquisition collaboration, and coaching senior leaders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and/or master's in HR, MBA, or related discipline.
8+ years in a strategic HRBP role.
Experience supporting sales/commercial leadership, preferably in energy efficiency, sustainability or SaaS.
Deep understanding of sales compensation structures and performance frameworks.
Familiarity with modern HR systems (Workday/Oracle, ServiceNow).
Experience through rapid growth, transformation, or M&A.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary HR strategic partner to commercial leadership to support growth.
Translate business strategies into actionable people strategies aligned with company goals.
Drive talent planning, workforce analytics, and organizational design for the commercial teams.
Support strategic hiring plans with Talent Acquisition for sales and marketing.
Provide coaching and development to senior commercial leaders and frontline managers.
Align total rewards with sales performance metrics and market competitiveness.
Lead organizational change and culture initiatives across the commercial organization.
