Job summary

The City of Hialeah seeks an HR Training and Development Partner to lead the design and delivery of staff development programs with emphasis on customer service and organizational improvement.

The role involves assessing training needs, developing curricula, and advising managers on development opportunities, reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer for progress and quality results across citywide initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in training or organizational development.
• Experience developing and facilitating training programs; ability to assess needs and plan curricula.
• Knowledge of governmental operations and organizational development trends.

Responsibilities

• Prepares training materials and conducts onboarding, customer service, ethics, and related trainings.
• Consults with management to determine training needs and priorities.
• Advise on methods and programs to meet training objectives and develop new courses.
• Plan, design, and revise training courses; compile outlines and plans.
• Research and recommend training materials; support career development opportunities.
• Prepare narrative and statistical reports on training programs.
