Job summary

City of Atlanta is seeking a Training Manager II to architect and oversee development and training programs for city employees. You will lead a team that includes facilitators and instructional designers, coordinating with the Organizational Development unit and the Department of Aviation.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and expertise in LMS and e-learning tools to support workforce effectiveness city-wide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, HR, Business, or Organizational Development.

Responsibilities

• Design, prepare, deliver and assess training programs for City managers and employees.
• Partner with HR to implement organizational development programs and training initiatives.
• Lead and develop facilitators, instructional designers, and training coordinators.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and apply improvement measures.
• Create operating plans, forecasts and reporting for training operations.
• Maintain compliance with policies and internal processes.
