Job summary

The American Bankers Association (ABA) seeks a Senior Director, HR Technology, Operations & Analytics to evolve our HR systems, data strategy, reporting, and processes. This role advises the CHRO and EVP, HR Operations & Employee Benefits, driving data-informed decisions and technology-enabled HR innovation.

Reporting to the EVP, this role oversees the HR technology roadmap, governance, workforce analytics, compensation data analysis, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• 8+ years in HR operations, business analytics, HRIS, or related leadership roles.
• Demonstrated Expertise with Workday HCM, including reporting, security, governance, and optimization.
• Experience leading technology implementations and cross-functional projects.
• Strong background in workforce analytics, HR reporting, and data governance.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the HR technology strategy and roadmap.
• Evaluate and optimize HR tech solutions including Workday and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Manage technology vendors and system enhancements.
• Partner with HR and business leaders to maximize HR systems effectiveness.
• Establish governance, security, and compliance standards for HR systems and data.
• Lead efforts to streamline HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
• Drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.
• Support compensation planning, market pricing, and workforce planning through data analyses.
• Manage major HR technology implementations and project plans.
