Job summary

American Bankers Association (ABA) in Washington, DC is seeking a Senior Director, HR Technology, Operations & Analytics to advance HR systems, data strategy, reporting capabilities, and operational processes. Reporting to the EVP, HR Operations & Employee Benefits, you will oversee the HR tech roadmap, governance, workforce analytics, compensation data analysis, and process improvement initiatives.

This role combines HR expertise with technology-driven innovation across the HR function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• 8+ years in HR operations, analytics or HR technology leadership.
• Experience with Workday HCM and HR data governance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven record delivering system implementations and data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the HR technology strategy and roadmap.
• Evaluate and optimize HR tech solutions, including Workday and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Manage vendors, investments, and system enhancements.
• Partner with HR and business leaders to maximize HR systems effectiveness.
• Establish governance, security, and compliance for HR data.
• Oversee access controls, documentation, audits, and continuity planning.
• Lead HR processes optimization across the employee lifecycle.
• Drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.
• Develop HR dashboards, analytics, and executive reporting.
• Support compensation analytics, market pricing, and workforce planning.
• Manage major HR tech implementations and change initiatives.
