Job summary

MacMore LLC is seeking an HR Reasonable Accommodations Specialist to support a government client in Washington, DC. You will evaluate medical documentation, discuss barriers with employees, and implement accommodations in compliance with the Rehab Act, ADAAA, and EEOC guidance.

The role requires 4+ years of HR generalist experience and 4+ years in reasonable accommodation duties, with strong verbal and written communication.

Qualifications

• 4+ years HR generalist experience.
• 4+ years experience performing reasonable accommodation duties.
• Knowledge of Rehab Act 1973, ADAAA, and EEOC guidance.
• Experience providing accommodation consulting services.
• Technical skills to develop plans, procedures, and methods.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accommodations for individuals in line with Rehab Act, ADAAA, EEOC guidance.
• Evaluate medical documentation, discuss barriers with employees, and implement accommodations.
• Provide consultant services in reasonable accommodation.
• Develop plans, procedures, and operating methods for assignments.
• Develop reports regarding accommodation requests.
• Provide advisory services to management on accommodation requests per laws.
