Job summary

The Governors Finance Office is seeking an experienced Human Resources Officer for the CORE.NV ERP project team in Nevada. You will work under HR leadership to define requirements, organize and train project functions, and collaborate with managers and stakeholders to implement strategic HR solutions that boost efficiency while aligning with state guidelines.

You will oversee personnel relations, payroll, recruitment and training, and advise management on complex issues, budgeting, and policy

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited four year college or university in personnel management, business administration, public administration or related area.
Three years of progressively responsible professional personnel management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Direct and advise staff on personnel management, safety, payroll, recruitment and employee relations.

Responsibilities

Oversee project functions within HR work stream for CORE.NV ERP project.
Identify improvement opportunities; implement strategic solutions for efficiency and productivity.
Ensure results comply with NV state policies and procedures; mitigate personnel risks.
Research, collect and analyze data; prepare reports for stakeholders.
Advise department management on complex employee issues and conflict resolution.
Prepare, justify and manage operating budgets and implement HR policies.
