Job summary

State of Nevada seeks IT professionals for the Governors Finance Office in Carson City to work on the CORE.NV ERP project. The role focuses on Integrations & Interface Development with potential to expand into Security, Reporting, Configuration, or Data Management areas.

Responsibilities include analyzing and developing ERP components, reviewing releases for compliance, and providing technical leadership to ensure a stable and compliant ERP environment for multiple agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or closely related field.
• Five years of professional IT experience relevant to duties, with two years at journey or supervisory level.
• Experience in systems administration, network administration, database administration, applications analysis and development, and/or information security.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, test, deploy and support procedures and methodologies to ensure ERP components are complete and accurate.
• Review ERP versions/releases to ensure all components remain functional, compliant, and up to date.
• May serve as a lead providing technical guidance to ensure changes result in a stable, compliant environment for all agencies and users.
• Maintain documentation related to architecture, operations, and work activities.
• Stay current with technological trends, security practices, laws, policies, and ethics.
• Participate in resource allocation decisions, tracking expenditures, and writing technical requirements for proposals.
