Job summary

The State of Nevada is seeking a Human Resources Officer to support the CORE.NV ERP project team within the Governor’s Finance Office. Based in Carson City, NV and working onsite, this role contributes to HR work stream requirements and advises leadership on complex employee matters.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university in personnel management, business administration, public administration, or a related area.
• Three years of progressively responsible professional personnel management experience.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage project requirements and scope within the HR work stream, including planning, organizing, training, and overseeing project functions.
• Partner with project managers and cross-functional teams to identify improvements and implement solutions focused on efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure project results adhere to Nevada state policies and procedures.
• Identify personnel-related risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Conduct research, collect and analyze HR data and report information.
• Support management of the CORE.NV production environment from an HR perspective.
• Serve as a line department Human Resources officer.
