Job summary

Toyota is seeking a Payroll Operations Manager to ensure accurate, timely pay for 55,000 North American team members and to lead a high-performing team of eight. You will drive operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement across North America.

You will manage day-to-day payroll operations, maintain strong governance, partner with vendors and internal stakeholders, and advance process improvements to reduce risk and improve service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• 8+ years of experience leading payroll processing, compliance activities, and service delivery in a high-volume environment.
• Experience with payroll vendors and cross-functional stakeholders in a shared services model.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop team members to deliver accurate payroll services.
• Oversee end-to-end payroll operations for US and Canada.
• Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws, payroll tax requirements, and internal controls.
