Job summary

CarGuys Inc. seeks an experienced HR & Payroll Director to lead our HR and payroll operations in Minnesota. This role oversees compliance, policies, and strategic initiatives to support growth and employee satisfaction.

The successful candidate will manage HR functions including recruitment, performance, benefits, training, payroll processing, and audits, while partnering with leadership to drive organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• Extensive knowledge of pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of payroll processes and relevant laws/regulations.
• Experience with HR and payroll software (ADP, Workday, SAP) and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
• Oversee recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.
• Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Lead HR/payroll team, mentor staff, and drive policy improvements.
