Job summary

Cresco Labs in Illinois is hiring an HR Business Partner to support our Retail and Operations locations. The HR Business Partner will work with managers on performance management, compensation, training, employee engagement and other HR matters, serving as the primary HR contact for assigned locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in Human Resources, preferably in manufacturing/warehousing or retail.
• Knowledge of labor and employment laws; HR policies and procedures.
• Advanced MS Office; HRIS systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Store/District leadership on employee engagement, performance, morale, and opportunity areas.
• Provide leadership and counsel to leaders delivering HR solutions for high performance.
• Work with management and staff to increase productivity and morale.
• Analyze data to identify trends and address gaps in employee experience and processes.
• Coach managers on performance conversations and accountability.
• Investigate and resolve employee relations issues; escalate when needed.
• Support annual performance reviews and goal setting cycles with leaders.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and policies.
• Identify training and development opportunities for employees in collaboration with leaders.
• Manage ADA processes including accommodations and compliance decisions.
• Navigate CBAs in unionized environments and participate in negotiations where required.
