Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or Public Admin and at least four years of HR experience in recruitment, including two years with a government entity.
• Alternate: high school diploma or equivalent with eight years of HR recruitment experience, including four years in government settings.

Responsibilities

• Support development and administration of recruitment program across City departments.
• Assist with compensation, classification, and salary administration tasks.
• Post vacancies in NEOGOV and review applications; create Eligible Lists and refer candidates.
• Participate in full-time interviews and make conditional offers, including salary negotiations.
• Draft and update job descriptions; maintain the Position Control Spreadsheet.
• Attend workforce development meetings and stay current on HR laws and state/federal changes.
• Support New Employee Orientation and agency-wide HR events.
• Provide HR consultation to department leaders and coordinate with city management.
