Job summary

H-E-B is seeking an HR Business Partner to provide strategic HR support across the enterprise. You will partner with leaders to drive talent initiatives, organizational effectiveness, and compliance, translating data into actionable strategies that align people with business goals.

You will coach leaders on performance, engagement, and culture, interpret workforce trends, and ensure adherence to FLSA, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, and local laws while enabling change and workforce optimization.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with HRIS and case management systems (Workday, Salesforce, or equivalent).
• Experience applying HR principles to business needs and driving people-related initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Align HR priorities to business outcomes and provide data-driven insights with clear recommendations.
• Coach leaders on performance, engagement, and culture while aligning with company values and leadership expectations.
• Interpret data trends (turnover, tenure, forecasts) and inform staffing decisions with actionable plans.
• Advise on compliance and risk mitigation (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, local ordinances).
• Support transitions and change readiness to drive adoption of initiatives.
