Job summary

Chimes DC Brand is seeking an HR Generalist to provide knowledgeable HR support to employees and managers, ensuring alignment with Agency policies. You will handle employee relations matters, conduct investigations, and assist in onboarding and orientation.

The role also supports recruitment efforts, administers grievance processes, and participates in staff development. A strong knowledge of employment laws and confidentiality is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
• 2+ years of HR experience.
• Thorough knowledge of state and Federal employment laws and Agency policies.
• Ability to partner with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency with HRIS and talent management systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledgeable HR support to employees and managers while enforcing Agency policies.
• Address employee relations matters and conduct investigations as directed.
• Assist with New Employee Orientation and completion of I-9s.
• Support recruitment efforts and events as needed.
• Administer appeals and grievance processes and recommend actions.
• Attend required trainings and staff meetings to foster development.
