Xcel Energy in Minnesota is seeking an HR leader to develop and execute organization and business-area HR strategies that align structure, culture and talent with business goals. You will advise leadership on the full range of HR and related functions.

You will partner with leaders to drive organization design, workforce planning, performance management and total rewards, coach leaders, and develop succession pipelines.

Qualifications

• Four years of HR experience, including two years consulting with leaders on HR strategy.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of organizational effectiveness, talent management, employee relations, performance management, total rewards and employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Drive HR and business area strategy alignment with leaders and HR partners.
• Build relationships to clarify strategy, manage talent, and deliver HR programs.
• Serve as HR experts, advising on organization design, workforce planning, and total rewards.
• Develop leadership development, coaching, and succession planning for business-area leadership.
• Act as HR Generalist for the business-area leader's direct reports.
