Job summary

Xcel Energy in Minnesota is seeking a Senior Talent Management Consultant to advance talent planning, succession, and performance alignment across the enterprise. You’ll partner with leaders and HR to design development strategies, identify readiness gaps, and drive data-driven improvements.

The role focuses on aligning business priorities with talent solutions, monitoring program impact, and supporting employee engagement and leadership development in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, organizational development, business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in talent management, organizational development, HR consulting, or related roles.
• Experience with talent review, succession planning, and performance management.
• Experience advising and partnering with leaders to translate business priorities into practical talent solutions.
• Strong consulting, facilitation, and relationship-building skills with stakeholders at multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead year-round talent planning, focusing on talent review and succession planning processes across the enterprise.
• Partner with leaders and HR to assess bench strength, identify successors, and close readiness gaps for key roles.
• Design and deliver development strategies and actions that accelerate readiness of high-potential and successor talent.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or related field

Advanced degree preferred
