Job summary

Xcel Energy is seeking an experienced HR Operations Leader to manage day-to-day HR service delivery in a hybrid work environment. This role ensures accurate benefits administration, SOPs, HRIS data integrity, and scalable processes across shared services.

You will partner with multiple HR functions, drive process improvements, lead a growing team, oversee metrics and compliance, and support a large, diverse workforce across states, with a starting base pay in the posted range and a comprehensive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
• At least eight years of progressive HR experience with at least 2 years of leadership experience.
• Strong working knowledge of HR processes, policies, federal/state laws & regulations, HR compliance, data governance, and internal controls.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive process improvements.
• Experience with HRIS systems (Workday, UKG, ServiceNow) and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage HR operations, including benefits administration, enrollment, and employee lifecycle processes.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce SOPs, templates, and knowledge base content for service delivery.
• Collaborate with multiple HR functions to ensure seamless operations and escalation resolution.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance HR service delivery and efficiency.
• Manage vendor relationships, review performance, and approve invoices.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and audit needs across HR processes.
• Partner with HR Technology to maintain data integrity and system workflows.
• Lead, coach, and develop the HR Operations team and manage budget.
