Job summary

Epika Fleet Services is seeking an HR Business Partner to act as a strategic and hands-on partner to leaders across a geographically dispersed workforce. You will translate business strategy into people strategies, drive employee engagement, and support talent management to strengthen organizational capability.

You will influence managers on people decisions, lead employee relations, and guide policy interpretation while collaborating with leadership to optimize workforce performance and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including HRBP experience supporting a multi-site workforce.
• Hands-on experience with employee engagement, employee relations, and talent management.
• Working knowledge of employment law (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, state regs).
• SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
• Ability to think strategically and influence others; strong conflict management skills.
• Ability to analyze data to build a business case and communicate it clearly.
• Able to travel to dispersed locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to site and functional leaders, translating business needs into HR strategy across a dispersed workforce.
• Coach managers on people decisions, difficult conversations, and change management.
• Lead employee relations investigations, performance guidance, and policy interpretation.
• Manage LOA processes (FMLA, ADA, state leave) with Benefits and Legal teams.
• Support talent management, talent planning, compensation processes, and workforce planning.
• Partner with leaders and TA to attract, develop, and retain top talent; serve as final interviewer for salaried roles.
• Provide day-to-day HR guidance to managers and escalate complex issues to HR leadership.
