Job summary

6 Degrees Search is seeking a Human Resources Manager to serve as a strategic business partner to the plant leadership team in Prosperity, SC. You will lead HR initiatives, drive employee engagement, and align HR programs with operational goals to build a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field is required.
10+ years of progressive HR experience, including supervisory/management roles.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
Strong knowledge of federal and South Carolina HR laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Partner with site operations leaders to design proactive employee relations programs.
Develop and execute strategies to attract, hire, and retain talent across all levels.
Lead staffing and recruitment, including manpower planning and full-cycle recruiting for salaried staff.
Manage onboarding processes, including background checks, drug screenings, and orientation.
Maintain HR systems and payroll records; ensure policy compliance.
Oversee leaves of absence, unemployment claims, and investigations; provide guidance.
Lead training and development, including performance reviews and leadership development.
Administer corrective action processes aligned with company values.
